Temple Economic Development Corporation (Temple EDC) works to enhance economic development activities and quality of life opportunities for businesses and residents in Temple, Texas.
Established in 1988, Temple EDC is a nonprofit organization that serves as the designated economic development entity for the City of Temple, Texas. Temple EDC is a one-stop shop for all things business development and works closely with community partners to promote Central Texas’ next frontier.
Four shovel-ready industrial and business parks are owned by Temple Economic Development Corporation. Ongoing investments in new infrastructure support The Parks at Central Pointe, which includes Airport Park at Central Pointe, Bioscience Park at Central Pointe, Enterprise Park at Central Pointe and Rail Park at Central Pointe.
Temple EDC is a member of the Grand Central Texas economic development partnership. By working closely with our local, regional and state partners, we assist with locating a site or building, gathering detailed business cost and economic data, and securing competitive incentives for qualifying projects.
Locally, Temple EDC fosters relationships with existing industry through our Business Retention and Expansion program. We support Temple businesses by taking an active role in workforce development and training, education and infrastructure investments.
Additionally, Temple EDC spearheads talent attraction marketing efforts for the City of Temple, with the goal to connect jobseekers to open positions and to educate current and prospective residents about the benefits of living in Temple.
