The Heart of Central Texas Independent Living Center (HOCTIL) empowers individuals with disabilities by fostering independence, promoting self-direction, and championing equal access to community life.

Serving people of all ages with physical, developmental, and chronic health conditions, HOCTIL provides a broad range of support services tailored to meet diverse needs, regardless of income level. Its programs strengthen individual capabilities, expand personal choices, and encourage self-advocacy and accountability.

Through peer support, life skills training, assistive technology resources, advocacy, and transition services, HOCTIL equips individuals with the tools and confidence to live independently and fully participate in society.
