Temple Health and Bioscience District

The Temple Health and Bioscience District (THBD) Office and Laboratory Facility, creates an environment for commercializing products derived from intellectual property emanating from biotechnology research labs and entrepreneurial innovations. Currently, two tenants rent office and laboratory space at 1802 South 1st Street, Temple, Texas: Neurofront Technology, LLC and WashSense, Inc.

Jason H. Huang, MD, Chairman, Department of Neurosurgery, Baylor Scott & White Health, Professor of Surgery, Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine is developing a prototype device for non-invasive stroke monitoring at Neurofront Technology, LLC.

WashSense, Inc. offers a hand hygiene measurement and infection management system designed to address compliance and Healthcare-associated Infections (HAI) reduction in healthcare facilities, which targets a 34 Billion dollar problem that results in 100,000 deaths annually in the United States.
