Kohl’s will add 130 jobs in Temple when the national retailer opens a new department store next month.
Wisconsin-based Kohl’s will open in Market Place Shopping Center on Sept. 25. A grand opening will be Sept. 28.
Before opening its doors, Kohl’s will hire register operators, sales associates, customer service employees, early morning freight unloaders and evening ad-set associates, spokeswoman Erin Kelbe said in a statement.
Positions will be part-time and hourly, according to the Kohl’s website.
Kohl’s will host a five-day job fair next week at Hilton Garden Inn at 1749 Scott Blvd. in Temple. To be guaranteed an interview, applicants must schedule an appointment by visiting www.kohlscareers.com or by calling 877-639-5645.
Job fair hours are 10:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Sunday and Monday; 12:15 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday; and 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 10-11.
Associate benefits include immediate merchandise discounts and an employee stock ownership plan.
