Karin Jahnke Joins the Temple Economic Development Corporation as Director of Operations

TEMPLE, Texas—The Temple Economic Development Corporation (Temple EDC) today announced the addition of Karin Jahnke as Director of Operations and Administration. Jahnke began working at the Temple EDC on July 22.

With this new addition to the staff, the Temple EDC has completed building the infrastructure of a strong team with ties to the heart of Central Texas. She will manage finances and operations of the organization and work closely with community partners in her new position.

“We see this role as an opportunity to contribute to a team in a way that allows us to more effectively market Temple and partner with companies considering locating or expanding in Central Texas,” Ayres said. “In addition to having the required experience for the job, Karin also has great contacts and professional influence in the region that is invaluable to our team.”

A lifelong Central Texas resident, Jahnke will be responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of operations at the organization. She brings 15 years of experience with a diverse background of leadership positions in operations, sales and management.

Previously, Jahnke has held management positions at Community Impact Newspaper, The Home Depot and Dell, Inc.
